Rachel is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker providing evidence-based clinical counselling and Supervision for Allied Health Clinicians. With over 15 yrs. of practice in the mental health sector commitment to professionalism. Rachel is dedicated to helping individuals overcome their challenges embracing a person cantered collaborative approach to help “meet you where you’re’ at” focussed on positive outcomes using a practical solution focused approach that incorporates psycho-education & somatic interventions along side of evidence based practices.
Rachel is trained in a number of evidence based therapies;
Trauma focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy)
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy)
RI (Rehersal Imagery Therapy - used to reduce nightmeres).
DBT ( Dialectical Behavioural Therapy)

Over the course of her career, Rachel has specialised in complex trauma and PTSD, She has taken a special interest in treating First Responders and individual who are dealing with a work place injury and are in need of adjustment counselling. During her career Rachel has coordinated Trauma Recovery Programs for Veterans and Emergency Service Men in addition to facilitating numerous other mental health group programs.
Rachel is available to continue to provide External Clinical Supervision to other Allied Health Professionals. Currently, she is working part time in private and public mental health.
